Join the June Journal Challenge
Do you have 15 to 20 minutes a day to reduce your stress, organize your thoughts, and feel creative? Research shows that keeping a journal is healthful activity for your body and mind.
Carbon County Sheltered Stories is challenging our community to keep a daily journal for the month of June! There will be a different prompt for each day focused on reflecting and moving forward during the COVID-19 pandemic. This is NOT a writing contest. The goal of this challenge is to create for yourself, share for our history.
How to Participate
Check the calendar for the daily prompt or follow our posts on Facebook.
Take a few minutes to think about the prompt. What does it mean to you? Then get started. You can keep a pen and paper journal, type directly into our online form or use other word processing software, or make a video diary.
Contribute to the history of Carbon County by sharing your journal entry. A written and oral local history catalogs the experiences of every day people as a resource for historians and future generations. By creating this digital archive together, we are creating a local legacy. For more information, check our FAQ's.
